Just discovered 1999 AG commercial!

Just watched Annie with Alicia Morton which I had taped from TV from 1999 and get this, there was an AG commercial in it!!! with different scenes with girls. There was a bunch of girls, some were having a sleep over with the catalogs, another was doing Karate, some were going up the stairs, there was one girl sitting alone reading a cataloge, and then there were 4 girls walking with AG bags, and in the bags you could see the white boxes!! Then in the end of the commercial, you heard, I enjoy being a girl, and a lady saying, AmericanGirl.com! Kinda funny, that I never looked at the commercial closely until now.

Wow! How cool is that? I had no clue there was ever a television commercial.I guess I am kind of glad they do not have them now, but I would love to see that one.Too bad you do not have a way to upload it or something.It's neat to get to hear about it.Thanks.

Yeah, I saw that commercial once. I remember being so psyched when it came on!! I don't remember whether it was during Annie, but I remember seeing it.


I love to watch tapes of movies I have and see the old commercials. I have a tape of the Titanic mini series from 1996 with this old Hallmark commercial on it that I watch over and over again! Then of course are those commercials with child star Tessa Allen in them....Tessa is my ABSOLUTE favorite child star-even more than Kelsey Lewis-and I love to watch for commercials with her, too.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I can upload them to the web if someone can get me a VHS or DVD copy of the tape. I have one of those box thingees that let me import TV into my Mac.
